RAB Tryouts for 2026-2027

RAB is hosting tryouts for the following female only teams for the 2026-2027 season:

• U14AA
• U16A
• U16AA
• U19A
• U19AA

RAB reserves the right to modify team offerings up to and including the start of the season.

In order to participate, all players must be registered with Ringette Ontario for insurance coverage.

Releases

No player needs a release to try out for any team. A release is required in order to accept a spot on a team outside of one's home association. RAB's home association players will not be released to play outside the association except in the following circumstances:

1. The player is offered a spot on a level of team that RAB is not offering (i.e. U14A)
2. The player tries out for a RAB hosted team, and the player is not offered a spot (i.e. a player is "cut")

Tryouts can be a stressful time for players, coaches, and volunteers. Please be kind and respectful when communicating either in person or via email. Because associations have tryouts at different times, there may be some waiting required for releases. No player will be released to another association for a team RAB offers unless that player has also attended RAB tryouts.

U14AA Tryout Fees

• Initial Fee: $40 - guarantees participation in the 1st and 2nd tryouts.
• Remaining Tryouts: By invitation only, determined after the 2nd tryout. Invited players must register and pay an additional $40 fee.

• Payment:
  • Credit card only during registration; all fees are non-refundable.

U16AA and U19AA Tryout Fees

• Initial Fee: $50
  
  
• Guarantees participation for 1st 80min tryout.
• Tryout 2 included at no additional cost if invited.
  
  
• Not Invited After Tryout 1:
  
  
• Players receive a code to register for the 1st & 2nd U16A or U19A tryouts at no extra charge.
  
  
• Tryouts 3, 4, &  5:
  
  
• By invitation only.
• Additional fee: $40, which guarantees participation in Tryout 3.
• Advancement beyond each subsequent tryout is not guaranteed.
  
  
• Not selected for the Team:
  
  
• Players receive a code to register for “A” tryouts at no extra charge.
  
  
• Payment
  • Credit card only during registration; all fees are non-refundable.
    
    

U16A and U19A Tryout Fees

• Initial Fee: $40 - guarantees participation in the 1st and 2nd tryouts.
• Remaining Tryouts: By invitation only, determined after the 2nd tryout. Invited players must register and pay an additional $40 fee.
