Vaccination Requirements

The City of Burlington will follow the direction from the Provincial government and will no longer require visitors to city recreational facilities to show proof of vaccination.

The City’s Mask Bylaw and Physical Distancing Bylaw have both been repealed effective March 22, 2022 in City facilities.

The City is continuing to follow the direction and guidance of the Province and the Regional Medical Officer of Health in making its decisions. These decisions help protect our community and City staff and limit the spread of COVID-19.

Passive screening for the public visiting City facilities will continue to be in place. Members of the public who wish to continue to wear their mask in City facilities are welcome to do so. Daily active screening and masking remains a requirement for City staff.

Ringette Association of Burlington participant COVID-19 screening:

  • All parents, spectators and visiting teams are asked to review posted COVID-19 screening questions at the point of entry

  • One or two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine not authorized by Health Canada, followed by one dose of a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine authorized by Health Canada, or

  • They received their final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before providing the proof of being fully vaccinated.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at COVID@burlingtonringette.com

The city of Burlington will be conducting independent validations to ensure we comply with this order and there are consequences for non-compliance.

The Ringette Association of Burlington has done an exemplary job at meeting all COVID related expectations and received praises for our safety protocols  and compliance.  We trust we will all continue to help so our players can continue to enjoy the sport they love.
